Ward was born on the 15th of April 1976 in MonroeLouisiana. Monroe Christian School was her private Christian primary school. After completing her high school studies, Ward moved on to River Oaks High School in the summer of her junior-year. There she was part of the drill and dance team. A short time after her graduation she attended Northeast Louisiana University. Ward left school at the age of 13 and moved in New York so that she could begin modeling. After a few years, she decided to attempt acting. In the 1970s, she acted as an uncredited character in All My Children. A few years later she was cast for the NBC premiertime drama for teens Malibu Shores. Ward was cast in her debut performance in the Sunset Beach daytime soap opera, where she played the romantically virginal Meg Cummings. She began her film career and starred as a character in The In Crowd as psychotic Brittany Foster. The film was not a huge movie in theaters however, it was a huge success in the home and on cable. Ward appeared as a guest for the film Shallow Hal - a smash hit - the following year. The other roles she has played include a variety of direct-to-DVD movies and appearances in television shows, including Friends. In 2009she was cast as Chloe Kmet, the mother of a girl who is in the ABC Family drama Make It or Break It. In her private life she was married to David C. Robinson. The couple had a boy named Cameron.
